There is great value in making the Pentecost Novena which takes place during the nine days between the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord and the great Sunday of Pentecost. In fact, the nine days of prayer spent by the disciples in union with Our Lady during this original period prior to that original Pentecost Sunday is the origin of the novena as a form of prayer. Below is the audio of the allocutio (short spiritual reflection) that I gave on this theme at a recent meeting of the Regina Cordium Praesidium of the Legion of Mary. After this allocutio, the praesidium members asked me to put together a Novena for them to use. That request caused me to put together the attached Pentecost Novena booklet which is also found below:
