This is a reflection on following the summons of Christ which takes as its starting point a consideration of the Call of St. Matthew. It was given at a luncheon that was held during the Rio Grande Valley Consecration Mission of 2012.

An image of the painting by Caravaggio that I refer to in the reflection is included below.  I was referencing it from memory, so I am off on a couple details in the audio file, but not to the extent of undercutting the main thrust of the reflection.
